
🌟 As part of the module Digitalization in Food Processing, MSc FPPE students recently participated in an exciting workshop led by the Automation Department at DIL. The session introduced key topics shaping the future of the food industry, including robotics, automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Students had the opportunity to apply theory in practice through hands-on experiments: They dealt with food handling by innovative gripping technologies and tested different solutions for managing delicate food products safely and efficiently.
Moreover, the students programmed our robotic system to determine the quality of food products with help of vision systems machine learning. The workshop offered students a unique chance to connect digital innovation with real-world applications, providing valuable skills and perspectives for their future careers in food processing and product engineering.
